Enriching Lives Through the ARTS!
Welcome to Fairmount Center for the Arts, a non-profit community arts organization where creativity thrives and imaginations soar. Since 1971, we have offered affordable visual arts, theatre, dance, music, and fitness programming to residents of Geauga County and beyond with the help of our extensive outreach programming.
Fairmount has grown significantly since its founding and now proudly boasts two locations (Novelty & Chardon Square), as well as satellite programming in the community and at Kenston Schools Gardiner Center.

We believe that there is value in non-competitive arts education for everyone.
The arts are an invaluable part of our journey through life from the first crayon scribbles and tiny tip-toe steps, to playing symphonies and bringing audiences to their feet. We are dedicated welcoming you to a place where you can create more of these moments in your artistic journey whenever and wherever you decide to begin!
-
We believe that the arts should be welcoming and accessible.
We are committed to providing high quality arts education at an affordable price. Our esteemed faculty strive to create a non-judgmental and supportive recreational environment to learn, create, and explore. Our vast array of visual and performing arts programming allows students to showcase their artistic growth and share their passion with others.
-
We believe that the arts have the power to bring people together to create a community unlike any other.
We discover who we are and what matters most to us: we have memories based off of songs, we smile for post-performance photos with arms holding bouquets of flowers, we share small pieces of ourselves when we hang up artwork we've created with our own hands. Bringing people together through the arts encourages connections at a deeper level.
