Registration Policies

Classes are limited in size. Registration is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Register early in order to have your first choice of class.

Classes must be paid in full whether taken or missed. Notification of inability to attend a class is a courtesy to the teacher; however, we cannot excuse you from payment for a class for which you have contracted when you register.

MAKE UP WEEK for Summer Session is August 12-17. Make-up classes are offered for instructor cancellations or school closings. Student absences are made up at the discretion of the instructor. All students are encouraged to notify their instructors of a class absence by calling the Center at 440-338-3171. Tuition is not refunded or pro-rated for missed classes.

The staff reserves the right to cancel any class due to insufficient enrollment. If a class is cancelled, a complete refund will be made.

The center is available for meetings, parties, dinners and rehearsals.

Payment Options

One payment: Payment is due in full before student's first class(es) begin.

Two Payments: Half is due upon registration before the Session begins on June 17, 2013; the other half is due July 15, 2013. A late fee of $15.00 will be charged after July 15, 2013, on any outstanding balance.

Financial aid scholarships are available for children and adults in need. Gift certificates are available for classes.

WEATHER CLOSINGS
Classes held at Fairmount Center for the Arts are cancelled due to weather if West Geauga schools are closed. Classes meeting after noon will take place if roads have been cleared. Classes held at our satellite locations will be decided by the instructor and notified accordingly.
